Our Story

Hi, I’m Maile. I’m originally from the U.S., now living in Germany, and I’ve been making jewelry for as long as I can remember. Since I was little, I’ve loved turning simple materials into something beautiful and meaningful. Creating with my hands always felt like its own quiet language.

After moving to Germany to be with my husband, Roman, that creative language became even more important to me. What began as a personal outlet, and later as jewelry videos shared online, slowly grew into a community — and eventually into something much bigger.

That something is Diluvia.
A world built around beauty, craftsmanship, and pieces that feel personal.

Mailita was the beginning of that journey — the place where I started sharing my handmade designs and connecting with people who truly cared about them. Now, together, Roman and I are growing that beginning into a larger creative universe through Diluvia, while staying close to the heart of what made people fall in love with it in the first place.

And always nearby is Ripley, our Rhodesian Ridgeback, who has become part of the spirit of it all too.
